Buenia jeffreysii é uma espécie de peixe da família Gobiidae e da ordem Perciformes.

Morfologia

Os machos podem atingir 6 cm de comprimento total.
Número de vértebras: 30.^[4]^[5]

Reprodução

Os ovos apresentam forma de pera.^[6]

Predadores

Na Noruega sofre predação por Gadus morhua, Melanogrammus aeglefinus^[7] e Trisopterus minutus.^[8]

Habitat

É um peixe marítimo e de clima temperado que vive entre 5–330 m de profundidade.^[4]^[9]

Distribuição geográfica

É encontrado no Oceano Atlântico oriental (Dinamarca, França, Islândia,^[10] Irlanda, l'Ilha de Man,^[11] Noruega, Suécia e Reino Unido) e Mar Mediterrâneo ocidental (Banyuls-sur-Mer, Catalunha do Norte).^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]^[21]

Observações

É inofensivo para os humanos.^[4]
