English: The coat of arms of Cricău commune, according to annex no. 1.2, consists of a triangular shield with rounded edges. In the upper part, on a blue background, there is a gold Dacian flag. At the top of the shield, on a red background, there is a bunch of grapes with two golden leaves. The shield is surmounted by a silver mural crown with a crenellated tower. The meanings of the added elements: The Dacian flag symbolizes the existence of a Dacian fortress in the area - Piatra Craivei. The bunches of grapes signify the viticultural richness of the area. The mural crown with a crenellated tower signifies the fact that the locality has the status of a commune.
Română: Stema comunei Cricău, potrivit anexei nr. 1.2, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile tăiate rotunjit. În partea superioară, pe fond albastru, se află un steag dacic, de aur. În vârful scutului, pe fond roşu, se află un ciorchine cu struguri cu două frunze, de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate: Steagul dacic simbolizează existenţa în zonă a unei cetăţi dacice - Piatra Craivei. Ciorchinele cu struguri semnifică bogăţia viticolă a zonei. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
