Keyne
Keyne (séc. V, Brycheiniog, Gales - 490 ou 505, Llangeinor, Gales), também conhecida como Keane, Kayane, Keyna, Cenau, Cenedion, Ceinwen, foi uma mulher santa e eremita do século V que teria viajado muito pelo que hoje é o sul de Gales e Cornualha.[1][2][3][4][5]

editarExistem inúmeras dedicatórias a Santa Keyne em áreas tão diversas como Gales do Sul, Anglesey, Somerset, Hertfordshire e Cornualha.[6] A única fonte literária sobre a vida de Santa Keyne é a Vita Sanctae Keynae, que foi editada por João de Tynemouth e incluída em seu Sanctilogium Angliae Walliae Scotiae et Hiberniae no século XIV.[7] Infelizmente, este relato provavelmente não é confiável, pois foi registrado quase 800 anos após sua morte. Nenhuma fonte contemporânea sobre ela ou sua vida sobreviveu.
